  1. NOCTROPOLIS Short Play Demo
  2.  
  3.  
  4. To install the shortened, playable demo of NOCTROPOLIS
  5. use the following steps:
  6.  
  7.     1) Insert the CD in the CD ROM drive (the CD must
  8.        be left in the CD ROM drive for the demo
  9.        to function properly).
  10.  
  11.     2) Switch to the CD ROM drive by typing:
  12.  
  13.         X:
  14.  
  15.        and pressing enter. X is the letter of your
  16.        CD ROM drive.
  17.  
  18.     3) Switch to the DEMO1 directory by typing:
  19.  
  20.         CD\DEMO1
  21.  
  22.        and pressing return.
  23.  
  24.     4) Run the install program by typing:
  25.  
  26.         INSTALL
  27.  
  28.        and pressing enter. Follow the on-screen
  29.        directions.
  30.  
  31.     5) Once the installer has finished, run the
  32.        program by typing:
  33.  
  34.         NOCTDEMO
  35.  
  36.        and pressing enter.
  37.  
  38.     6) Enjoy the demo.

  41. If you have problems getting the demo to run. 
  42.  
  43. 1:      Create a boot disk
  44.     
  45.     Place a blank disk in drive a:
  46.     Type Format A:/s
  47.  
  48. 2:      Alter config.sys and Autoexec.bat files ON BOOT DISK. DO NOT ALTER
  49.     YOUR SYSTEM FILES ON C: UNLESS YOU ARE ARE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO.

  51.     After creating the boot disk, log to drive A:
  52.     and then edit the config.sys and autoexec.bat
  53.     to correspond with the details below.
